I've read this author before and very much enjoy her style. When I found this book, I was excited. The synopsis looked good, though very short at only 28 pages. Unfortunately, it's not actually a short little snippet with a resolution. It's part one of a serial novella, something the author didn't bother to mention until after the last page of the story.What story there was came across well, with nicely rounded characters and an interesting hook. But be aware, before you choose this one, that it's not even close to a complete story.
